My Journey

Growing up, I began dabbling in astrology with the annual tradition of receiving the January issue of Cosmopolitan which included the "Bedside Astrologer". My sister and I received these each year at Christmas (thanks, mom!💛). Both my mother and sister also helped introduce me to my love of crystals as we frequented a quaint little crystal shop in the nook of a flea market. I didn't understand then why those colourful little stones sang in beautiful harmony or why I could feel a magnet-like push/pull from them - I just thought that's how they were, to everyone.

As a teen, during the summer I transitioned from junior high to high school, I had my first encounter with the Rider-Waite tarot deck found in a wooden box in my mother's entertainment center. Interestingly, I can still remember how drawn I was specifically to the The Fool, The High Priestess, and the Ten of Pentacles. It's almost as if I was destined for this...of course, I had no idea at the time what those cards even meant, or any of them for that matter, but the irony is not lost on me now. I just knew there was something special about that "weird card game" in my mom's wooden box.

Fast-forward 25 years later, after having a spontaneous kundalini awakening, I find myself standing in a mystic's emporium buying sage to cleanse my home, a pocket-sized Rider-Waite deck, and a handful of crystals that called to me. Here I am - just trying to find my way back to the person I was meant to be - and while paying, I see a sign on a door that says "Reiki Session in Progress". What is this 'reiki'? I'm not sure, but I intuitively know that word has big meaning for me.

In 2017, I began my studies and using reiki for self-healing. It was (and is) an endless ebb and flow of healing, then processing what came up. In my mind's eye, I would see all of these bright white areas in and around the outside of a human figure. I didn't fully know what it meant, but I learned that as I worked with these areas - things began changing. One day while petting my cat who rarely jumped high, I saw the same type of a white cluster in his back leg/spine. I decided to try and see what would happen - he let me 'work' on him a bit and then right about the time I felt it was time to wrap up - he got up and walked away. He never did say if it helped, but he did later start jumping up higher onto the cat tree and it soon became his favorite place to perch. Of course, this experience intrigued me and took me further into the rabbit-hole into learning about distance reiki, sound therapy, EFT/tapping, and so much more that I am still continuing to learn about everyday.

Along the way, I discovered something unexpected - the ability to intuitively perceive energetic traps or clusters of dense energy in a person's auric or energetic field. Places where old traumas, stuck emotions, or blocked energy is stored or accumulated preventing the flow of energy. Out of curiosity, I also discovered that I can see and work with these trapped energy clusters remotely - even when the person was not physically in my presence. I also came to realize that the white 'energy bubble' that I see around trees, certain objects and people is not something that everyone sees or understands, or is even aware of.

For a while (and still occasionally), my own healing journey was filled with frustration and at times felt overwhelming. I struggled to find affordable, effective practitioners when I needed support the most. Now, I can appreciate that I had to walk much of that journey on my own. As it was meant to do, that experience helped to shape my mission to provide support, guidance, and a space to say what needs to be heard.

In 2019, I began offering 'pay what you can' donation-based and energetic-exchange sessions because I believe energy work should be accessible—especially to those committed to doing the inner work. All proceeds received go towards supporting the website, continued training and education, and providing support to the collective.

This space isn’t for everyone—and that’s intentional. I’m not here to offer quick fixes or surface-level comfort. If you’re drawn to work with me, you’re likely someone who’s ready to face your shadows, sit with discomfort, and do the inner work. I work best with clients who are ready for real transformation - those in the middle of shadow work, emotional healing, and prepared to go deep - not those hoping to be ‘healed’ without participating in their own transformation.
